My son (6) was very into the Grinch this past Christmas, so we bought this for him to read in December. He loved it! The hardcover copy makes it durable and great for gift-giving. I'm sure we'll have it for years to come; a classic story that doesn't go out of style.

I ordered this book to read give to my child on Christmas Eve. The actual size of the book is a little larger than other Dr. Seuss books I have but I like the larger size. It is actually the same size as "The Lorax" which I also bought on Amazon but larger than the other 10 or so Dr. Seuss books that my kids have. We really enjoyed reading this book together on Christmas Eve. This is fun story with a good message and great illustrations. My kids were engaged and enjoyed this book. It would also be good for young readers to read themselves. I would definitely recommend this book. It would also make a great gift for a child.

Beautiful hardbound book. Would make a great collection to any children's library. I'm using it for reference for a church musical. I've forgotten how the movie had changed the story a lot, so will be sticking to the original as much as possible. Also, the illustrations are so colorful and inspiring for set designs & costumes.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my boss. He told us he was a grinch, and we also decorated our office as whoville. Because everything was Grinch themed, I figured his gift should be too. It was also a gift he could share with his children.

I've always loved "The Grinch" growing up, so I had to get this for my kiddos this Christmas. I haven't given it to them yet, and I won't be til the night before christmas as their "night before christmas box", but I flipped through the pages already. The book has that nice crisp new book feel where it's almost hard to turn the pages because of how tight the binding is, but I love that. It arrived clean and no scratches or anything on the cover which is always nice!

My 4 year old niece didn't want to go to the live play of "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" because she was scared of the Grinch. When I heard this I knew what the problem was. Children can't sit there for over an hour before the Grinch turns nice. So I will read her the book first. It will take just a few minutes for the Grinch's heart to grow three sizes (oops, spoiler alert!). Then she can watch the 30 minute animated special. Then she can see the play. I suppose she can watch the Jim Carrey movie as well.
